SCALE is a Cairo studio for people who expect a home to be a considered thing. We began in 2007 as an architecture practice and grew, deliberately, into an integrated design holding, with three named subsidiaries under one accountable roof. From concept to completion, and every day after. That is the whole promise. The reason clients stay clients for a decade.

We don't decorate. We design for how people live, move, and thrive. Every project starts with the client's world and ends with a space that feels considered from every angle. This is the Design Studio.

Execution should be flawless.

Every line, joint, and detail meticulously managed by our own finishing team. Design means nothing without execution. Discipline and pride, on every millimetre. This is Construction & Finishing.

Management should be seamless.

At Scale, we don't just follow trends. We shape environments that last. My role is to anticipate what our clients truly need and ensure we always exceed those expectations.

Architect by training, taste-maker by instinct. Leads the Design Studio and the studio's brand and business development. The visionary voice of SCALE, and the co-founder Ahmed Dakak calls "the anchor of every project's design intent."

Design means nothing without execution. I make sure every detail, from concept to completion, is flawlessly implemented with discipline and pride.

Engineer by training, craftsman by discipline. Leads Construction & Finishing and the studio's operations. The reason SCALE builds with its own crew and never through invisible sub-contract. Ahmed Ismail calls him "the reason every drawing survives contact with the site."

Together, we lead SCALE with a balance of visionary thinking and operational excellence.
04 · Since 2007

A studio, slowly built.

2007

SCALE founded

Ahmed Ismail and Ahmed Dakak found the studio as an architecture practice, out of a small office in Cairo. First project: a private residence in Fifth Settlement.

2012

Interior discipline added

The studio expands beyond architecture. Interior becomes a full in-house discipline, with a millwork partnership that becomes long-standing.

2015

First North Coast villa

SCALE takes on its first coastal project. What follows is more than a decade of villas from Marassi to Sidi Hneesh.

2018

Construction & Finishing division

The Construction & Finishing arm is formalized, with our own crew and finishing team. End of sub-contracted quality.

2020

First commercial fit-outs

The studio takes on F&B and retail hospitality projects, including Willow's Restaurant and Palms Rinks.

2022

Property Management launched

Long-term stewardship becomes a permanent division, with the 16434 call centre and the first three clients enrolled.

2024

SODIC West HQ

The studio moves into its permanent home at Building 6, Suite D1, Polygon, SODIC West. The team hits 40 people.

2026

SCALE After Keys

Property Management is relaunched as SCALE After Keys, our signature service for everything that happens after handover. The three-house holding architecture is locked.
