The owners came to us with a plot and a feeling. They wanted a home that was contemporary but not cold, private but not closed, and considered enough to last through three generations. They also wanted one team from start to finish and beyond.
We began with immersion. Time in the family's current home. Time on the site. A close read of how the light moves across New Giza's hills. A written brief before a single drawing was made.
The result is a home organized around a central courtyard, with a strong architectural line at the entrance and a landscape that pulls the outside in. Materials chosen to age. Details that only reveal themselves the second time you see them.
